My name is Julie, and I live in Peachtree City, Georgia. I have several decades of experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary grades through college. I was fortunate to have incredible teachers and mentors, and I hope to give my students the same type of lasting memories. I love teaching students to think, rather than simply memorize, by using the Socratic teaching method. I'm experienced in teaching and tutoring Latin (my favorite subject!), English, grammar, writing, reading, literature, and business finance/accounting. I'm a very capable test prep tutor for the ACT, SSAT, and SAT verbal and writing. I'm available to tutor both during the school year and over the summer.My background is very diverse. I'm a certified coach for both business and personal clients. I resided in Korea for two years, where I taught both children and adults. I've traveled the United States extensively, and once took a year off to drive around the US visiting friends and family and enjoying new experiences. I like to relax by reading, crocheting, or playing board games.
